Industries in which Geoffrey has specific experience include trade marketing, air and sea travel, customer service & sales, hospitality, transport, banking & finance, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and human resources. With a passion for delivering top-quality training and development services, Geoffrey established his own business - RED Training Solutions - in 2005. He has developed a client base which draws on his abilities, in particular around tailored training and people performance improvement. Geoffrey was previously awarded the Australian Region Trainer Award for his work in the Asia Pacific region with a multinational, blue-chip company. He is also a member of the Australian Institute for Learning Practitioners (ILP) and was the Finalist of the 2010 National Learning Practitioner Awards. Geoffrey delivers with an energetic style and employs proven training and facilitation models at both an individual and business level. Geoffrey has an Honours degree in Business Administration (James Cook University), a Post-graduate in Human Resource Management (Swinburne) and is certified to undertake accredited training nationally and internationally. He has been engaged since 2006 as Teaching Associate with the Department of Management, Monash University, Melbourne, reviewing and assessing subject papers in communication, change management, project management, organisational behaviour and marketing. On a personal note, Geoff enjoys most sports, particularly cricket, golf and all forms of ‘football’. When time permits, he enjoys camping with his dog Bonnie, fishing and trying to master his off-key saxophone! “My professional philosophy is that every experience in the training arena should involve empowerment, interaction and energy, some laughter and ultimately, improvement in human performance. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, experience and real-life, best practice learning material.
